Quest Property Surveys are based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, and founded by Rob Jones, Building Surveyor, Rob began his career in the construction industry with practical hands-on wet trades, and later progressed with a successful career into site management.

 

Positions held include General Foreman, Assistant Site Manager, and finally Site Manager, for various Contractors and Developers within the West Midlands.

 

Over the 35 years in construction Rob held supervision with a comprehensive portfolio of projects with a variety of refurbishment, PRC refurbishment, speculative new house building, contract build projects involving college sports hall/gymnasium, Government contracts HMP prison and police stations, industrial units, barns conversions, renovation to listed buildings and conversion of a Grade II listed country house/mansion (liaison with Local Conservation and English Heritage) into a number of separate units. Rob’s practical background experience and training brings together a wide range of substance with technical and managerial knowledge and skills. This is the keystone behind Quest Property Surveys, offering you a reliable and professional service.

 

Rhys completed his Diploma through SAVA school of surveying while also shadowing Rob and other surveying professionals. Leading up to his surveying qualification Rhys worked as a Project Manager within the architectural and construction industry. Following qualification, Rhys gained further experience working for a Manchester based surveying company.

 

Through his professional training and shadowing of other surveyors, Rhys has gained invaluable expertise and extensive knowledge surrounding methods of construction and how they can fail. Upon the completion of his qualification Rhys is an Associate Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) allowing him to produce RICS standard reports for the business.
